The Hand Physio

With over two decades of experience specializing in hand and upper limb injuries, The Hands Physio was founded in 1998 by Rebecca and Stephen Farr. Rebecca, a graduate with first-class honors in research from The University of Sydney, established the clinic in response to the demand for a hand therapy clinic in the Inner West.

Rebecca’s extensive knowledge of anatomy, hand and upper limb injuries, coupled with her innate business sense, laid the foundation for a clinic dedicated to excellence in hand therapy. The clinic started modestly, operating from the front room of her house, and has since evolved into a well-established and highly regarded practice with a team of physiotherapists conducting approximately 8000 consultations annually.

Driven by Rebecca’s passion for patient care, The Hands Physio operates on principles rather than protocols. Each patient is treated according to their unique needs, focusing on tissue healing and injury mechanisms rooted in a deep understanding of anatomy.
