Melinda Webb - The Birthing Webb

Melinda embarked on her journey as a Doula and Childbirth Educator, dedicating herself to supporting pregnant women and their families. Subsequently, she pursued studies in Chinese medicine at university and established a thriving women’s health clinic, the Art of Health & Wellbeing, where she practices as a Dr. Chinese medicine. Melinda serves as a mentor for both Doulas and Chinese medicine students.

Driven by a passion for empowering women through care and education, Melinda enables them to nurture and advocate for their own health and wellbeing. Drawing on her background in food and hospitality as the former co-owner of Cafe Morso in Pyrmont, she seamlessly integrates both culinary and medicinal expertise.

In her role as a Dr. Chinese medicine and Educator, Melinda has guided individuals through the transformative journey from pregnancy to parenthood. Currently based in Balmain, she teaches and consults at her clinic, specializing in menstrual wellness, fertility, pregnancy, postnatal care, and navigating the transitions of menopause.

In 2018, Melinda participated in a transformative trip to Senegal, Africa, alongside The Hunger Project and Business Chicks. Through a series of fundraising events, she raised over $10,000 for The Hunger Project, subsequently leading her to initiate the Circle of Being. This service provides care, education, and support to women and their families, reflecting Melinda’s commitment to making a positive impact on a global scale.
